Note:
1.According to the preferred road test location selected by the candidates on the driving test application (either Kowloon & New Territories Region or Hong Kong Region), an end-of-list road test appointment will be allocated by computer system to candidates at the test centre (of which that type of test is held under that preferred test region) subject to the prevailing waiting time of that respective test type at the test centre in that respective region. To help candidates estimate the approximate end-of list test appointment date and submit their application as appropriate, it is advised that they should enquire the latest updated prevailing waiting time and end-of-list test appointment date of driving tests before they submit the application at the appropriate time using appropriate method. For the most updated driving test waiting time and prevailing end-of-list test appointment date, please contact Driving Test Appointment Office, Transport Department at 2771 7723.

2.The information is updated once a day and is for reference only. The end-of-list test appointment date and driving test waiting time varies due to changing test demand at different time period. As such, this Department will only provide the prevailing end-of-list test appointment date as at the time of handling the enquiries, nevertheless, this does not mean that the candidate would be allotted with that end-of-list appointment date and the Department is not able to confirm with the candidate the next test appointment date after this end-of-list-appointment date. After the driving test application has been approved, this Department would allot an end-of-list test date at the prevailing time when the application was approved.

3.The end-of-list test appointment date refers to the earliest test appointment date for the vehicle/ test type under the selected region for general driving test application purpose. If you wish to postpone your test, please note that the end-of-list test appointment allotted is subject to the prevailing waiting time for the respective type of test at the original test centre at the time when the application is processed.
